The Threeworlds Fusion Staff Handle is the core of the Fusion collapsible staff system, serving as the center section for both contact staff and dragon staff builds. Also commonly called the Fusion Contact Handle to distinguish it from the shorter Fusion Spin Handle, it allows compatible staff ends to be installed or removed in seconds using Threeworlds’ pressure-fit connection system.

Choose between high-strength 7075 aluminum or lightweight carbon fiber, then select EPDM, F-Grip, or silicone grip to customize the handle to your preferred feel. Pair it with compatible Fusion end pieces to build a collapsible contact staff, dragon staff, or other modular Fusion setup.

One Handle, Multiple Staff Builds

The Fusion system is designed around interchangeable components rather than requiring a completely separate staff for every style of spinning. Pair the handle with matching Fusion Staff End Pieces to build a collapsible practice or dragon staff, or swap in compatible Fusion contact staff ends to create fire and LED contact staff configurations.

If you’re building a staff from individual components, the Fusion Staff Handle gives you a central platform that can grow with your setup over time. If you’d rather skip the parts list and start with a complete staff, check out the Fusion Collapsible Pure Staff.

Fusion Pressure-Fit Connectors

Each side of the handle uses Threeworlds’ pressure-fit connector system. Tightening the cam bolt compresses alternating rubber bushes and nylon washers, causing the assembly to expand against the inside wall of the staff end. Once tightened, friction holds the pieces securely together without requiring permanent fasteners through the outer tubing.

Assembly is simple: insert a compatible end piece, twist the connector clockwise until secure, and repeat on the opposite side. For a deeper look at how the system works, read our Fusion Pressure-Fit Connector Guide.

Designed to Be Maintained

The pressure-fit hardware is made from replaceable components, so normal wear does not mean replacing the entire handle. Cam bolts, rubber bushes, and nylon washers can be serviced individually to help keep a Fusion setup running for years.

Each connector uses a long Fusion Cam Bolt with alternating Rubber Bushes and Nylon Washers.

Compatible Fusion Staff Ends

The Fusion Staff Handle is designed for end pieces with a 3/4 inch (19 mm) inside diameter and 7/8 inch (22 mm) outside diameter. Compatible components slide over the pressure-fit connectors and tighten into place to create a full collapsible staff.

Because the handle is the center of a modular system, you can replace individual components or expand your setup without rebuilding everything from scratch. More spinning, less prop Tetris.

Variations

Grip

EPDM: A durable, padded synthetic rubber grip with reliable traction in sweat, humidity, and dusty conditions. EPDM becomes grippier as it breaks in and is a good low-maintenance option for staffs that see regular use. New EPDM may leave some black residue at first, which washes off during the break-in period.

F-Grip: A textured natural rubber tube that combines some of the characteristics of EPDM and silicone. It provides strong traction around moisture and dirt, requires essentially no break-in period, and has become our most popular all-around staff grip. F-Grip is the heaviest of the three standard grip options.

Silicone: A lightly textured silicone tube with an extremely tacky feel when clean and dry. It is easy to maintain, and water or rubbing alcohol can quickly restore its tackiness. Silicone tends to lose more traction than EPDM or F-Grip when dirty or sweaty.

Material

7075 Aluminum: High-strength aluminum provides a more substantial, grounded feel and is generally more budget friendly than carbon fiber. Its additional shaft weight can feel stable and predictable while learning, and aluminum is more tolerant of repeated drops and concentrated external pressure.

Carbon Fiber: Carbon fiber reduces the weight of the center handle while maintaining excellent strength along the shaft. A lighter center shifts a greater percentage of the staff’s total weight toward the ends, creating a more pronounced rotational and contact feel. It is a popular choice for intermediate and advanced spinners looking for a lighter, more responsive staff.

SKU 3WFH Category Brand:

Flow toys are props and tools used in flow arts, which is a movement based art-form that involves object manipulation. Flow props are extensions of your body and tools for self expression.

Despite being called “toys”, flow toys are meant for everyone and you will find that a majority of flow artists are actually adults! Contemporary flow arts include many modalities like dance, martial arts, or just “free-flow.”

The best flow toy to start with is the one that you’re most excited to learn. Although some props might be more difficult to learn than others, this differs greatly from one person to another. We found that the more excited you are to learn a specific prop, the more likely you will be to practice and learn quickly.

Stick props like dragon staff, contact staff, or spin staff can be easier for some since its a more static prop that you can hold onto. Rope props like poi and rope dart require more plane control at the beginning but are also much easier to travel with. Others like flow stars and pixel whips have their own kind of movements that don’t really fall into the other two categories we mentioned. But they’re super popular for ravers and festival goers!

We have a feeling you’ll end up owning more than one type of prop though so regardless of what your friend thinks is the best flow toy to start with, just get whatever you’re most excited to learn!

Fire dancing carries some inherent risks, but if you follow all of our fire safety instructions the risks are very avoidable. We recommend feeling super comfortable with a flow toy before lighting it on fire for the first time.

If you’re new to flow arts, we also recommend getting a daytime practice prop (or even LED prop) since you might be dropping your flow toy a lot when you’re first learning. The Kevlar on fire props can deteriorate much more quickly from repetitive drops, so practice props are ideal to keep them safe.

We have fire, LED, and daytime versions of most of our main props. Even if you can only afford one version and end up starting with a fire prop, they can be protected with wick covers. No matter what type you have, we recommend practicing on soft ground like grass to protect them as much as possible.

After you read the fire safety guide linked above and before lighting up you fire tool, please also read through our safety disclaimer.

We ship our products Monday-Friday from Los Angeles, CA, USA. Many of our listed products are ready-to-ship unless we have to assemble them, which can add a day or two to process. That being said, we ship out orders in the order they are placed within 1-2 business days (with some exceptions like holiday seasons).

Once shipped, we use USPS for orders in the USA and usually UPS for all international orders. Ground shipping in the US usually takes about 3-5 business days from shipping date, while priority shipping can be between 1-3 business days from shipping date. These are estimations and not guarantees as USPS might have delays, but reach out to us if you are looking for more specific time frames!

We can’t promise any specific shipping timeframes for international delivery as customs can cause many unforeseen delays.

Of course! We’re just a text, email, or DM away from being able to answer any question you have. All of our contact details can be found here or you can scroll down to find the buttons in our footer. We’re active on social media too so we are pretty easy to get a hold of!

This category includes Threeworlds Fusion components and modular staff hardware for collapsible contact staffs, dragon staffs, and spin staffs. You’ll also find Flowbonacci plug hubs, dragon staff heads, and other compatible staff components as we continue expanding our offerings.

We stock staff ends, collapsible handles, dragon staff hubs and kits (V3, Ultra, Plug Hubs), spokes, cam bolts, nylon washers, rubber bushings, connector hardware, and assembly tools. These parts are designed for building, maintaining, or upgrading modular staff systems with pressure-fit and collapsible designs.

Our goal is to make it easier to source Threeworlds Fusion components, Flowbonacci parts, and other modular staff hardware within the USA so you are not waiting on international shipping for small but essential pieces.

We are actively growing this category to support more collapsible staff models and dragon staff systems. If you do not see the specific component you need, reach out and we will help you track it down.
