Flow arts, object manipulation, fire performance, and related activities involve inherent risks. These risks can exist even when equipment is properly manufactured, maintained, and used.
By purchasing or using products sold by Bonobo Flow, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Safety Disclaimer and voluntarily assume the inherent risks associated with the activities in which you choose to participate.
This Safety Disclaimer applies to products manufactured or assembled by Bonobo Flow, third-party products sold by Bonobo Flow, and, where applicable, equipment discussed or demonstrated through Bonobo Flow educational content.
Flow props and related performance equipment can cause injury to the user, spectators, property, and the surrounding environment.

The nature and severity of these risks vary depending on the product, activity, environment, user’s experience, condition of the equipment, and other circumstances.
You are responsible for determining whether a product and activity are appropriate for your experience, abilities, environment, and intended use.
Purchasing equipment from Bonobo Flow does not mean that you are trained, certified, or otherwise qualified to use it.
Whenever appropriate, seek instruction from a qualified and experienced instructor before attempting an unfamiliar activity or technique.
Always maintain sufficient space between yourself, other people, animals, structures, vehicles, vegetation, flammable materials, and other hazards.
Do not use a prop while impaired by alcohol, drugs, medication, exhaustion, illness, or any other condition that materially affects your coordination, judgment, reaction time, or ability to safely control the equipment.
Flow props experience wear through normal use.
Before each use, inspect the product and all applicable components, including:
Do not use equipment if any component is damaged, excessively worn, loose, improperly installed, unstable, or otherwise appears unsafe.
If you are unsure whether a product is safe to use, discontinue use until the product has been inspected, repaired, or replaced as appropriate.
Many flow props contain removable, adjustable, replaceable, or modular components.
You are responsible for properly assembling and securing equipment before use and for following applicable manufacturer instructions.
Improper assembly, incompatible components, or incorrectly installed modifications or replacement parts may cause equipment failure and increase the risk of injury or property damage.
After assembling, adjusting, or modifying a prop, inspect all connections and attachment points before use.
Modifying a Bonobo Flow product or combining it with third-party components does not automatically void its warranty. However, damage caused or contributed to by a modification, incompatible component, or third-party product may not be covered. Current warranty terms are available on our Warranty and Policies page.
Fire performance involves significant inherent risks, including burns, fuel exposure, accidental ignition, property damage, injury to spectators, and uncontrolled fire.
Do not use a fire prop unless you understand and willingly accept these risks.
Before using fire equipment:
Never light damaged, excessively worn, or improperly assembled fire equipment.
Local venues, municipalities, fire departments, land managers, event organizers, or other authorities may impose additional requirements for fire performance. You are responsible for determining and complying with the requirements applicable to your activity and location.
Fire eating and fire breathing involve particularly serious risks and should only be learned through appropriate hands-on instruction from qualified and experienced practitioners.
Risks can include burns, fuel poisoning, aspiration, respiratory injury, chemical pneumonitis or pneumonia, and death.
Information provided by Bonobo Flow through product pages, articles, videos, social media, emails, or other educational materials is general information only. It is not a substitute for qualified in-person training and should not be interpreted as certification or authorization to perform fire eating, fire breathing, or any other high-risk activity.
Purchasing equipment intended for these activities does not mean that Bonobo Flow has determined that you are qualified to use it.
Battery-powered flow props should be inspected for damage before charging or use.
Do not use or charge a product if a rechargeable battery is swollen, punctured, leaking, physically damaged, overheating abnormally, or otherwise appears compromised.
Use charging equipment compatible with the product and follow applicable manufacturer charging instructions.
Do not intentionally expose electronic products or batteries to fire, excessive heat, water, severe impact, or other conditions outside their intended use.
Flow props are not necessarily toys for unsupervised children simply because they may sometimes be referred to as “flow toys.”
Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether a non-fire product is appropriate for a minor based on the product, activity, age, experience, and level of supervision.
Fire props and other high-risk equipment should only be used by individuals with appropriate training, maturity, supervision, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Certain products may have specific age restrictions stated on their product pages or packaging.
Laws regarding fire performance, public performance, certain equipment, batteries, fuels, importation, transportation, and related products or activities vary by jurisdiction.
You are responsible for determining whether you may lawfully purchase, import, possess, transport, carry, and use a product in your jurisdiction and intended location.
Bonobo Flow does not represent that every product sold on our Website may legally be purchased, imported, possessed, carried, or used in every jurisdiction.
Bonobo Flow sells products manufactured by independent third parties in addition to products manufactured or assembled by Bonobo Flow.
When using a third-party product, you are responsible for reviewing and following any warnings, instructions, maintenance requirements, or safety information provided by the manufacturer.
Bonobo Flow does not control the design, manufacturing process, or subsequent product changes made by independent manufacturers.
Bonobo Flow publishes educational articles, videos, product guides, demonstrations, and other informational content.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that Bonobo Flow and its owners, employees, agents, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for injuries, losses, or damages resulting from inherent risks of the activity, your misuse of a product, failure to inspect or maintain equipment, improper assembly, unauthorized or unsafe modification, failure to follow applicable instructions or warnings, or use of equipment while impaired or in an unsafe environment.
Nothing in this Safety Disclaimer is intended to release, waive, disclaim, or limit liability that cannot legally be released, waived, disclaimed, or limited under applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bonobo Flow and its owners, employees, agents, contractors, and affiliates from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of a product, your misuse or unsafe modification of a product, your violation of applicable laws or regulations, or injury or damage caused to a third party through your use of a product, except to the extent such liability cannot legally be shifted to you.
If equipment feels loose, damaged, unstable, unusually hot, structurally compromised, or otherwise unsafe, stop using it.
A few minutes spent inspecting or repairing a prop is considerably better than finding out what happens when a questionable component fails mid-spin.
