About Stick Grips and Accessories

Stick props such as dragon, contact, double, and spin staffs, levi-wands, and devil sticks generally need to be regripped over their lifetime. Some of the most common grips are silicone and EPDM. Staff flowers are also used to slow down the rotational speed and add weight to the staff ends, which is very useful for contact manipulation. Silicone tape is also commonly used to seal the ends of the grips on stick props or for added safety near the wicks of fire props so that there is no exposed metals. Other accessories also include wick covers or carry bags for collapsible props (or any props up to 29″).
