Lumi LED Dragon Heads are a modular way to convert a compatible staff into a bright rechargeable LED dragon staff. Each head uses three illuminated spokes arranged around a lightweight hub, creating the visual size and rotational presence of a dragon staff without requiring a dedicated LED staff.

The current Lumi Dragon Head design uses an external pressure-fit connection that pushes directly over the end of compatible 7/8 inch OD (22 mm OD) staff tubing. No hub clamp or permanent modification to the staff is required, making it easy to convert between compatible staff configurations.

Three Lumi LED Spokes Per Head

Each dragon head uses three spokes powered by individual rechargeable Lumi LED Light Units. The LEDs illuminate the silicone orbs at the ends of the spokes, creating bright points of light that trace the movement of the dragon staff as it rolls and spins.

The light units provide multiple preset color modes and recharge through USB-C. Replacement light units are available individually, so a damaged or aging light does not mean replacing the complete dragon head.

Soft Silicone Orbs

Instead of placing hard components at the outermost ends of the dragon head, the Lumi uses silicone orbs over the ends of its polycarbonate spokes. The silicone construction provides a softer exterior at the points most likely to encounter the ground during drops and practice.

The weighted ends also contribute to the rotational momentum that gives dragon staffs their characteristic rolling behavior.

Push-On Pressure-Fit Installation

The Lumi Dragon Heads are designed for compatible staffs with a 7/8 inch (22 mm) outside diameter. The staff tubing pushes directly into the polyurethane hub, creating an external pressure-fit connection without requiring a clamp bolt.

If your staff has 22 mm Fusion Removable End Caps installed inside the tubing for use with clamp-style dragon hubs, those inserts don’t need to be removed before installing the Lumi Dragon Heads.

Optional Fusion Quick-Release Conversion

For compatible Fusion setups, the standard attachment can be converted using optional Fusion Quick Release End Caps. This changes the connection to the Fusion pressure-fit system, allowing the complete dragon heads to be installed and removed with a twist.

This is particularly useful if you regularly switch between different Fusion staff configurations and want your LED dragon heads to use the same attachment system as your other Fusion components.

Replaceable & Serviceable Components

The Lumi Dragon Head is built from individual components rather than as one permanently sealed assembly. The Lumi LED Light Units and Lumi Pro Spiral End Caps can be replaced separately if needed, helping extend the useful life of the complete setup.

Flow toys are props and tools used in flow arts, which is a movement based art-form that involves object manipulation. Flow props are extensions of your body and tools for self expression.

Despite being called “toys”, flow toys are meant for everyone and you will find that a majority of flow artists are actually adults! Contemporary flow arts include many modalities like dance, martial arts, or just “free-flow.”

The best flow toy to start with is the one that you’re most excited to learn. Although some props might be more difficult to learn than others, this differs greatly from one person to another. We found that the more excited you are to learn a specific prop, the more likely you will be to practice and learn quickly.

Stick props like dragon staff, contact staff, or spin staff can be easier for some since its a more static prop that you can hold onto. Rope props like poi and rope dart require more plane control at the beginning but are also much easier to travel with. Others like flow stars and pixel whips have their own kind of movements that don’t really fall into the other two categories we mentioned. But they’re super popular for ravers and festival goers!

We have a feeling you’ll end up owning more than one type of prop though so regardless of what your friend thinks is the best flow toy to start with, just get whatever you’re most excited to learn!

Fire dancing carries some inherent risks, but if you follow all of our fire safety instructions the risks are very avoidable. We recommend feeling super comfortable with a flow toy before lighting it on fire for the first time.

If you’re new to flow arts, we also recommend getting a daytime practice prop (or even LED prop) since you might be dropping your flow toy a lot when you’re first learning. The Kevlar on fire props can deteriorate much more quickly from repetitive drops, so practice props are ideal to keep them safe.

We have fire, LED, and daytime versions of most of our main props. Even if you can only afford one version and end up starting with a fire prop, they can be protected with wick covers. No matter what type you have, we recommend practicing on soft ground like grass to protect them as much as possible.

After you read the fire safety guide linked above and before lighting up you fire tool, please also read through our safety disclaimer.

We ship our products Monday-Friday from Los Angeles, CA, USA. Many of our listed products are ready-to-ship unless we have to assemble them, which can add a day or two to process. That being said, we ship out orders in the order they are placed within 1-2 business days (with some exceptions like holiday seasons).

Once shipped, we use USPS for orders in the USA and usually UPS for all international orders. Ground shipping in the US usually takes about 3-5 business days from shipping date, while priority shipping can be between 1-3 business days from shipping date. These are estimations and not guarantees as USPS might have delays, but reach out to us if you are looking for more specific time frames!

We can’t promise any specific shipping timeframes for international delivery as customs can cause many unforeseen delays.

Of course! We’re just a text, email, or DM away from being able to answer any question you have. All of our contact details can be found here or you can scroll down to find the buttons in our footer. We’re active on social media too so we are pretty easy to get a hold of!

This category includes Threeworlds Fusion components and modular staff hardware for collapsible contact staffs, dragon staffs, and spin staffs. You’ll also find Flowbonacci plug hubs, dragon staff heads, and other compatible staff components as we continue expanding our offerings.

We stock staff ends, collapsible handles, dragon staff hubs and kits (V3, Ultra, Plug Hubs), spokes, cam bolts, nylon washers, rubber bushings, connector hardware, and assembly tools. These parts are designed for building, maintaining, or upgrading modular staff systems with pressure-fit and collapsible designs.

Our goal is to make it easier to source Threeworlds Fusion components, Flowbonacci parts, and other modular staff hardware within the USA so you are not waiting on international shipping for small but essential pieces.

We are actively growing this category to support more collapsible staff models and dragon staff systems. If you do not see the specific component you need, reach out and we will help you track it down.
