The Threeworlds Fusion Collapsible LED Spin Staff combines vibrant rechargeable LED lighting with a lightweight, modular design built for traditional staff spinning. Designed for Spinning, Not Contact Rolling

The Fusion Spin Staff is designed specifically for traditional hand-based spinning rather than contact staff techniques. Its F-Grip is concentrated on the central handle, while the polycarbonate ends remain ungripped to maximize their illuminated surface.

This construction makes the staff well suited for hand-based movements and rotational tricks, but it is not intended for rolling across your arms, shoulders, neck, or other parts of the body. For contact spinning, we recommend choosing a dedicated contact staff instead.

Rechargeable Lumi LED Light Units

The Fusion LED Spin Staff uses two rechargeable Lumi LED Light Units to illuminate its full polycarbonate ends. These compact light modules provide bright, colorful effects with multiple lighting modes and convenient USB-C charging.

Unlike disposable battery-powered LED props, the Lumi system allows you to recharge your lights between sessions, making it a practical choice for regular practice, festivals, and nighttime performances.

Modular Fusion Spin System

The Fusion Spin system allows you to switch between LED and fire ends without purchasing another handle. Remove the LED ends, attach compatible Fusion Spin Fire Ends, and your staff is ready for fire spinning.

Important Compatibility Note: Fusion Spin components use their own dedicated modular system. The Fusion Spin Handle is compatible only with Fusion Spin Fire Ends and Fusion Spin LED Ends. Flow toys are props and tools used in flow arts, which is a movement based art-form that involves object manipulation. Flow props are extensions of your body and tools for self expression.

Despite being called “toys”, flow toys are meant for everyone and you will find that a majority of flow artists are actually adults! Contemporary flow arts include many modalities like dance, martial arts, or just “free-flow.”

The best flow toy to start with is the one that you’re most excited to learn. Although some props might be more difficult to learn than others, this differs greatly from one person to another. We found that the more excited you are to learn a specific prop, the more likely you will be to practice and learn quickly.

Stick props like dragon staff, contact staff, or spin staff can be easier for some since its a more static prop that you can hold onto. Rope props like poi and rope dart require more plane control at the beginning but are also much easier to travel with. Others like flow stars and pixel whips have their own kind of movements that don’t really fall into the other two categories we mentioned. But they’re super popular for ravers and festival goers!

We have a feeling you’ll end up owning more than one type of prop though so regardless of what your friend thinks is the best flow toy to start with, just get whatever you’re most excited to learn!

Fire dancing carries some inherent risks, but if you follow all of our fire safety instructions the risks are very avoidable. We recommend feeling super comfortable with a flow toy before lighting it on fire for the first time.

If you’re new to flow arts, we also recommend getting a daytime practice prop (or even LED prop) since you might be dropping your flow toy a lot when you’re first learning. The Kevlar on fire props can deteriorate much more quickly from repetitive drops, so practice props are ideal to keep them safe.

We have fire, LED, and daytime versions of most of our main props. Even if you can only afford one version and end up starting with a fire prop, they can be protected with wick covers. No matter what type you have, we recommend practicing on soft ground like grass to protect them as much as possible.

I started Bo staff spinning/flow about 5 weeks ago to try and I am hooked. I’m obsessed with the saber staff but I am short (5ft) and those are too long for me. I searched for a few days for a proper spinning staff that would be slightly shorter than me with LED options that are changeable and chargeable. This staff is absolutely perfect. I’ve had it for only a week and it is so well balanced and it helps me visualize when I don’t have a mirror. And very durable (I drop it for time to time). This is well worth the price!

Contact staffs are a unique type of flow prop designed for dynamic movements and intricate body rolls. Unlike traditional staffs that are primarily held in the hands, contact staffs are designed to maintain contact with the body, rolling smoothly across the arms, shoulders, back, and neck. They typically should be be sized for chin height. The added end weight allows for better center point balance and stability during rolls.
