The Play Juggling Ara Eco Fire Torch is a lightweight fire juggling club built around a 7075 aluminum core, heat-resistant components, and a soft handle designed for comfortable catches. Its balanced club-style construction makes it a solid choice for both performers developing their fire juggling skills and experienced jugglers building multi-torch routines.

Built for Fire Juggling

The Ara Eco combines a strong 7075 aluminum tube with injection-molded, high-temperature-resistant components designed to handle the repeated drops and impacts that come with juggling. The result is a relatively lightweight torch that still has the structure needed for predictable throws, rotations, and catches.

A pure Kevlar wick wraps the upper metal section to provide a durable burning surface without fiberglass blended into the wick.

Super Soft Touch Handle

The smooth “Super Soft Touch” handle is designed to make repeated catches more comfortable, particularly when juggling multiple torches or practicing longer sequences. The softer gripping surface also helps take some of the punishment out of imperfect catches. Your hands already have enough going on when the other end is on fire.

For Practice & Performance

The Ara Eco follows the familiar proportions and handling of a juggling club while replacing the upper section with a dedicated fire construction. That makes it approachable for jugglers transitioning from standard clubs to fire while still providing the durability and handling expected for regular performance use.

Fire juggling should only be attempted after the same patterns, throws, and catches are consistent with non-fire juggling clubs. Thoroughly spin off excess fuel before ignition and regularly inspect the wick, aluminum core, handle, and other components for damage or excessive wear.

For information on fueling, wick care, and keeping your fire props in good condition, read our Fire Prop Maintenance Guide.

Fire juggling requires appropriate training, clearance, extinguishing equipment, and a trained fire safety. Please review our Fire Safety for Flow Arts guide and Safety Disclaimer before use.

If you can already keep three clubs in the air and have decided the obvious missing ingredient is fire, the Ara Eco was built for exactly that progression.

Flow toys are props and tools used in flow arts, which is a movement based art-form that involves object manipulation. Flow props are extensions of your body and tools for self expression.

Despite being called “toys”, flow toys are meant for everyone and you will find that a majority of flow artists are actually adults! Contemporary flow arts include many modalities like dance, martial arts, or just “free-flow.”

The best flow toy to start with is the one that you’re most excited to learn. Although some props might be more difficult to learn than others, this differs greatly from one person to another. We found that the more excited you are to learn a specific prop, the more likely you will be to practice and learn quickly.

Stick props like dragon staff, contact staff, or spin staff can be easier for some since its a more static prop that you can hold onto. Rope props like poi and rope dart require more plane control at the beginning but are also much easier to travel with. Others like flow stars and pixel whips have their own kind of movements that don’t really fall into the other two categories we mentioned. But they’re super popular for ravers and festival goers!

We have a feeling you’ll end up owning more than one type of prop though so regardless of what your friend thinks is the best flow toy to start with, just get whatever you’re most excited to learn!

Fire dancing carries some inherent risks, but if you follow all of our fire safety instructions the risks are very avoidable. We recommend feeling super comfortable with a flow toy before lighting it on fire for the first time.

If you’re new to flow arts, we also recommend getting a daytime practice prop (or even LED prop) since you might be dropping your flow toy a lot when you’re first learning. The Kevlar on fire props can deteriorate much more quickly from repetitive drops, so practice props are ideal to keep them safe.

We have fire, LED, and daytime versions of most of our main props. Even if you can only afford one version and end up starting with a fire prop, they can be protected with wick covers. No matter what type you have, we recommend practicing on soft ground like grass to protect them as much as possible.

After you read the fire safety guide linked above and before lighting up you fire tool, please also read through our safety disclaimer.

We ship our products Monday-Friday from Los Angeles, CA, USA. Many of our listed products are ready-to-ship unless we have to assemble them, which can add a day or two to process. That being said, we ship out orders in the order they are placed within 1-2 business days (with some exceptions like holiday seasons).

Once shipped, we use USPS for orders in the USA and usually UPS for all international orders. Ground shipping in the US usually takes about 3-5 business days from shipping date, while priority shipping can be between 1-3 business days from shipping date. These are estimations and not guarantees as USPS might have delays, but reach out to us if you are looking for more specific time frames!

We can’t promise any specific shipping timeframes for international delivery as customs can cause many unforeseen delays.

Of course! We’re just a text, email, or DM away from being able to answer any question you have. All of our contact details can be found here or you can scroll down to find the buttons in our footer. We’re active on social media too so we are pretty easy to get a hold of!

Juggling is one of the oldest flow arts modalities in the world. It has been around for centuries in different forms and has evolved quite a bit in the flow arts scene. Juggling balls are the most common juggling prop and come in different styles and weights. Beanbag balls are a great place for beginners to start as they are durable and comfortable to practice with. Juggling clubs are used similarly but are more advanced because they have to be caught on specific parts of the tool. Contact stage balls are designed to roll smoothly across your body. They can also be used in toss juggling, but are generally larger and meant for more illusions and rolls.

In addition to these, we have devil sticks, which are a fun and challenging prop that you manipulate with handsticks. These are also called flower sticks when flowers are attached to them, which makes them easier to control. Diabolos are spinning tops that you control with two control sticks attached to a string.

Juggling is good exercise and can help you improve your coordination, focus, and timing. Studies have shown it can increase coordination and focus, while also improving the ability to read, write, and reason.

Nowadays, many flow props can be juggled outside of traditional flow props. This includes staffs, sticks, rings, poi, hoops, and just about anything you have more than one of!
