The Threeworlds Fusion Collapsible Fire Spin Staff combines lightweight construction, a secure modular connection system, and durable Kevlar fire wicks in a compact, travel-friendly design. Built specifically for traditional staff spinning, this three-piece fire staff is ideal for performers who prefer a lighter, more responsive prop.

The staff features a 7075 aluminum Fusion Spin Handle with F-Grip tubing and two removable fire ends. Threeworlds’ patented Fusion pressure-fit connectors allow the sections to lock securely together with a simple twist, providing a stable connection without unwanted wobbling or rattling.

Unlike heavier contact staffs designed for rolling across the body, the Fusion Spin Staff is optimized for hand-based spinning techniques, including figure eights, isolations, and other rotational movements.

Designed for Spinning, Not Contact Rolling

The Fusion Spin Staff is intentionally lighter than a contact staff, with grip concentrated on the central handle and ungripped tubing extending toward the ends. This construction is designed for hand-based staff spinning rather than techniques that rely on rolling the staff across your arms, shoulders, neck, or other parts of the body.

If your focus is contact staff techniques, we recommend choosing a dedicated contact staff instead.

Modular Fusion Spin System

The Fusion Spin system allows you to switch between fire and LED ends without purchasing another handle. Remove the fire ends, attach compatible Fusion Spin LED Ends, and your staff is ready for a different type of performance.

Important Compatibility Note: Fusion Spin components use their own dedicated modular system. The Fusion Spin Handle is compatible only with Fusion Spin Fire Ends and Fusion Spin LED Ends. It is not interchangeable with standard Fusion Contact Staff ends, dragon staff components, or other Threeworlds Fusion accessories.

Fire spinning involves inherent risks and requires proper training, safety equipment, and precautions. Always inspect your staff, Fusion connectors, and Kevlar wicks before use. Ensure all connections are securely tightened, and never spin fire without appropriate safety measures in place.

Flow toys are props and tools used in flow arts, which is a movement based art-form that involves object manipulation. Flow props are extensions of your body and tools for self expression.

Despite being called “toys”, flow toys are meant for everyone and you will find that a majority of flow artists are actually adults! Contemporary flow arts include many modalities like dance, martial arts, or just “free-flow.”

The best flow toy to start with is the one that you’re most excited to learn. Although some props might be more difficult to learn than others, this differs greatly from one person to another. We found that the more excited you are to learn a specific prop, the more likely you will be to practice and learn quickly.

Stick props like dragon staff, contact staff, or spin staff can be easier for some since its a more static prop that you can hold onto. Rope props like poi and rope dart require more plane control at the beginning but are also much easier to travel with. Others like flow stars and pixel whips have their own kind of movements that don’t really fall into the other two categories we mentioned. But they’re super popular for ravers and festival goers!

We have a feeling you’ll end up owning more than one type of prop though so regardless of what your friend thinks is the best flow toy to start with, just get whatever you’re most excited to learn!

Fire dancing carries some inherent risks, but if you follow all of our fire safety instructions the risks are very avoidable. We recommend feeling super comfortable with a flow toy before lighting it on fire for the first time.

If you’re new to flow arts, we also recommend getting a daytime practice prop (or even LED prop) since you might be dropping your flow toy a lot when you’re first learning. The Kevlar on fire props can deteriorate much more quickly from repetitive drops, so practice props are ideal to keep them safe.

We have fire, LED, and daytime versions of most of our main props. Even if you can only afford one version and end up starting with a fire prop, they can be protected with wick covers. No matter what type you have, we recommend practicing on soft ground like grass to protect them as much as possible.

We ship our products Monday-Friday from Los Angeles, CA, USA. Many of our listed products are ready-to-ship unless we have to assemble them, which can add a day or two to process. Once shipped, we use USPS for orders in the USA and usually UPS for all international orders. Ground shipping in the US usually takes about 3-5 business days from shipping date, while priority shipping can be between 1-3 business days from shipping date. Contact staffs are a unique type of flow prop designed for dynamic movements and intricate body rolls. Unlike traditional staffs that are primarily held in the hands, contact staffs are designed to maintain contact with the body, rolling smoothly across the arms, shoulders, back, and neck. They typically should be be sized for chin height. The added end weight allows for better center point balance and stability during rolls. Contact staffs are one of the most popular tools used in both fire and LED performances.

Other kinds of staffs include spin and double staffs. Spin staffs are not as heavily weighted as contact staffs, so they can be spun much more quickly. This is popular for more martial arts styles of movement where contact manipulation isn’t used as much. Double staffs are shorter than spin and contact staffs.
