The wicks on your fire props are essential to their performance. However, they are also subject to wear and tear, which can affect the security of their attachment, burn time, and size of the flame. When this happens, it’s time to consider rewicking your props.
The cost for rewicking is influenced by several factors. Because of this, there is no straightforward pricing as to how much it will cost as the amount of time needed for each job is very different.
Please email info@bonoboflow.com with as much of the following information as possible with subject line “Rewicking” in order to receive a quote. If you don’t have some of the info then just describe the prop’s measurements as best you can.
- A picture of the prop
- Original manufacturer
- The number of wicks to be replaced
- The length of wick used on each spoke, end, etc.
- The size of the wicks (e.g., 1″ flatwick or 3/8″ rope)
- Shipping or dropoff/pickup
- Any applicable deadlines
